quote

"You can't ruin a painting"

-Bill Cross

  1. An exchange inspired by this quote:

    Aric Maddux:
Give me 30 seconds with the Mona Lisa and I'll prove otherwise.

    John R.P. Russell:
His point was not that you couldn't produce inferior work, but that, having done so, you can always keep going. The painting may now be an awful painting, but it is not ruined. It can yet become a good painting.

I suppose you may be considering setting fire to the Mona Lisa, however.... I suppose he also meant that you can't ruin a painting with paint.

    Stephanie Brinley:
Your explanation of the quote from Mr. Cross reminds me about what God thinks of us.
